Honu Primary Class
I live in Kona with a very feisty Jack Russell terrier named Flossie. I came to Hawaii Montessori Schools from Connecticut, where I worked with students from 14 months to 21 years, in both special services and as a classroom assistant. I fell in love with Montessori-inspired pedagogy during an impromptu classroom observation and have been hooked ever since. I completed my master’s in Early Childhood Education at the University of Hartford and finished my Association Montessori Internationale training in 2017. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, dancing, studying Spanish, and exploring my new home. I secretly believe I have the best job in the whole world and love life with my school family in the Children’s House.
