The Kona Brewers Festival, an annual event that takes place on the west side of Hawai’i Island, demonstrates how businesses, media, local government, institutions and grassroots groups can effectively collaborate to make a significant positive impact in their community. This  unique fundraiser has become a multiple-day celebration that includes three dinners, a top 5 national Home Brew competition, a 5K/10K run, a golf tournament, and culminates in a signature beer tasting and entertainment event featuring 25 Big Island chefs and 35 microbreweries from around the U.S. In 2009, the Festival donated a record $48,000 – for a 14-year total of $361,000 – to nonprofit educational and environmental organizations of Hawai’i Island.

For more information about the Golf Open or becoming a Tee Sponsor please contact Dianna Lally at (808) 756-0788 or via email at diannalally@hawaiiantel.net.

With the generous support of community members like you, we will be able to continue to promote environmental conservation in Hawaii and the education of Hawaii’s children.

The 4th Annual Kona Brewers Festival Golf Open is presented by The Bill Healy Foundation, and Hawai’i Montessori Schools, both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Your donation may be tax deductible.
